From there, I began waxing at the famed Benefit Cosmetics Brow Bar in Bloomingdale’s San Francisco, which I helped build from its opening day. I fell in love with waxing there, especially brows, which I found was the perfect compliment to a makeup application, creating a beautiful, clean canvas for eyeshadow. Working with Benefit, I also had the opportunity to travel to Mexico City in order to open and train at the first two Brow Bar locations in the country. After three years on the Benefit team, I decided it was time to open my own concept, and in 2011, Wax Addict was born!

Since opening Wax Addict I have taken many advanced post-grad courses in topics such as eyebrow shaping, brazilians, speed waxing, brow lamination, tinting and lash lifts, which has helped fine tune my technique and expand my service offerings. I truly believe in maintaining a “forever student” mindset and I continue to stay on top of trends and techniques by attending the industry’s top courses, conferences and conventions.
